SRL No 946 Gresley A4 No 60007 at Saughton 17 July 1965
Gresley A4 Class 4-6-2 No 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' is seen about to take the line towards The Forth Bridge at Saughton Junction with a Glasgow-Aberdeen 3 hour express 17th July 1965. At this time the A4 was allocated to 61B Aberdeen Ferryhill where she was withdrawn from in February 1966. Thankfully saved for preservation in May 1966 and as i write just returned back to working order after a long overhaul. Simon Lathlane Collection.
