SRL No 14 LNER A1 Class No 2575 + 2567 on Haymarket shed in 1929.

LNER A1 Class No 4472 at Stapleford on the Hertford loop line in 1929. The A1 had been chosen to be used in the filming of Castleton Knight 'The Flying Scotsman'. Also in view is GNR Ivatt D2 Class No 4388 with a flat bed wagon in between used for the film crew. 4472 was rebuilt to an A3 Class in January 1947 and a double chimney was fitted to the loco in 1959 followed by smoke deflectors in late 1961.
