LNER Thompson B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1016 'Inyala' is seen at York still with LNER lettering on tender and LNER number. The sleeve is dated 1949 but the B1 was renumbered 61016 on the 16 November 1948. Allocated to York until a move to Neville Hill (Leeds) in 1957. A short loan spell to Gateshead before coming back to the Leeds area at Copley Hill for two years.
